Thorntree River Lodge, a safari destination nestled on the river banks of mighty Zambezi river in the Mosi-Oa Tunya National Park, is seeking an experienced and passionate individual to come on board and join our dynamic team in the capacity of Electrician. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in one of Africa’s most pristine and remote wilderness areas, delivering unforgettable experiences to our local international guests.Position : ElectricianReporting to : Head of MaintenanceKey Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures around the CampPerform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.Diagnose electrical faults and carry out timely repairs.Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and regulations.Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematicsAssist in minimizing downtime by responding promptly to breakdownsConstantly check on the Genset, electric fence, geysers, radios and other electric installations, ensuring they are in working order• Perform daily duties and follow up on maintenance work as instructed by the Head of Maintenance.Requirements:Full grade 12 certificateCraft Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalentMinimum of 2–3 years relevant work experienceStrong knowledge of electrical systems Ability to read and interpret electrical diagramsMember of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) .Eligible and qualified employees must submit their CV’s and a cover letter clearly indicating the advertised position in the email title to hrzambia@africanbushcamps.com. The deadline is 8th  May, 2026.
