Customs Clearance Manager (X1) - Re-Advertised

Huachen International Supply Chain Limited seeks to employ a Customs Clearance Manager in the Clearance Department to join our growing team.POSITION: Customs Clearance Manager (X1)DEPARTMENT: ClearanceLOCATION: Ndola (Sakania)JOB PURPOSEOversee all customs clearance activities and provide support and guidance to the customs clearance team.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1.    Able to connect customer documents and complete communication with customers2.    Maintain relationships between the official and external agencies: commodity inspection, maritime, ports and other government regulatory departments.3.    Team management and training: lead and manage the customs clearance operation team, responsible for the distribution, guidance and training of daily work4.    Process and compliance control: establish, optimize and supervise the implementation of the company's customs clearance operation process and compliance system to ensure zero major operational risks.5.    Closely monitor the latest policy developments of customs, tax and relevant government departments, and timely interpret and formulate internal response strategies.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE1.    Bachelor’s Degree in Clearing & Forwarding, International Trade or related field.2.    At least eight (8) years of working experience in the customs/clearance field, including 3 years in team management experience.3.    Relevant qualification certificates, such as customs declarers, are an added advantage.4.    Strong awareness and rigour of risk prevention and control.5.    Excellent problem-solving ability, anti-pressure ability and multi-tasking ability.6.    Familiar with all kinds of office software and customs clearance operating systems.OTHER REQUIREMENTS1.    Must reside in Ndola, Kitwe or the surrounding area.2.    Excellent communication and coordination skills.3.    Problem solving and pressure resistance.4.    Leadership and team building.5.    Proficient in Zambian customs clearance regulations.NOTE.
