Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Truck Mechanic to maintain and repair fleet vehicles supporting crusher plant operations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Chinese truck brands and strong diesel engine expertise.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and plant vehiclesPerform routine servicing (oil changes, lubrication, filters, tires)Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and braking systemsAttend on-site and field breakdowns to minimize downtimeEnsure all vehicles comply with safety and operational standardsMaintain accurate service and repair recordsRequirementsMinimum 5–7 years’ experience as a truck mechanic (preferably in Africa/Zambia)Mandatory experience with Chinese truck brands Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and auto-electrical systemsAbility to work in demanding site conditionsBasic technical certification or equivalent experience
