Job Description

Job PurposeThe Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing an integrated marketing strategy that supports business growth, enhances brand positioning, and drives lead generation.This role requires a hybrid marketing professional with strong capabilities in B2B/B2G marketing, digital platforms, traditional marketing, and public relations, ensuring alignment between marketing initiatives and sales objectives.Key Responsibilities1. Marketing Strategy & PlanningDevelop and implement the annual marketing strategy aligned with organizational goals and revenue targetsWork closely with management and business development teams to align marketing efforts with the sales pipelineIdentify market opportunities and position the organization effectively within target sectors2. Digital MarketingLead and manage digital marketing initiatives, including:Website management and optimizationSEO/SEM strategiesPaid advertising (LinkedIn, Google Ads, etc.)Email marketing and marketing automationMonitor digital performance and optimize campaigns for lead generation and conversion3. Traditional MarketingDevelop and oversee production of marketing materials such as:Capability statementsCase studiesCompany profiles and presentationsCoordinate participation in industry events, exhibitions, and conferencesSupport branding initiatives to enhance market visibility4. Public Relations & CommunicationsManage all public relations activities and act as the primary media liaisonDevelop press releases, articles, and corporate communicationsDrive executive thought leadership initiatives (speaking engagements, publications, awards)Manage brand reputation and handle crisis communication when requiredEnsure consistency in internal and external messaging5. Sales Support & Lead GenerationDesign and execute campaigns that support the full sales cycle:Lead generationLead nurturingConversion supportCollaborate closely with the sales team to ensure marketing efforts translate into revenue opportunities6. Performance Measurement & ReportingDefine and track key marketing KPIs, including:Lead generation and conversion ratesCampaign performanceBrand visibility and media coverageProvide regular performance reports and insights to managementUse data and analytics to inform decision-making and improve marketing effectivenessQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related fieldProfessional certifications in Digital Marketing or PR are an added advantageMinimum of 5–8 years’ relevant marketing experience, preferably in a B2B or B2G environmentExperience in ICT, Fintech, or related sectors is an added advantageProven experience managing both digital and traditional marketing functionsKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong strategic thinking and execution abilityProficiency in digital marketing tools and platformsExcellent communication and public relations skillsStrong understanding of brand management and positioningAbility to analyze data and translate insights into actionStrong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skillsHigh level of creativity, initiative, and attention to detailKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Growth in qualified leads and conversion ratesEffectiveness of marketing campaignsBrand visibility and market positioningReturn on marketing investment (ROMI)Alignment between marketing and sales outcomes
