We believe that our greatest asset is our people, and we are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual to join our Human Resources team and help drive our HR agenda forwardPosition SummaryReporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Assistant HR will provide operational and administrative support across all HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, records management, compliance, and staff welfare. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven HR professional to build their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the recruitment process — advertising vacancies, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employeesMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, contracts, and HR databasesSupport payroll preparation by collating timesheets, leave records, and attendance dataAssist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and the Company's HR strategyHandle day-to-day employee queries and escalate matters as appropriateCoordinate staff training, induction programmes, and performance appraisal cyclesEnsure compliance with Zambia's Labour Laws and internal HR policiesDraft HR correspondence including offer letters, warnings, and contract renewalsSupport employee welfare initiatives and company eventsPrepare HR reports and presentations for management as requiredQualifications & ExperienceFull Grade 12 Certificate (School Certificate)Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related fieldMinimum 1–2 years of relevant HR or administrative experience (experience in a similar role is an added advantage)Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) — or eligibility to register — is an advantageProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Familiarity with Zambian Labour Laws and HR best practicesSkills & CompetenciesStrong interpersonal and communication skills — both written and verbalHigh level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalismExcellent organisational and time management skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a teamAttention to detail with a proactive and solution-oriented mindsetAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressureKitwe-based candidates are strongly encouraged to apply!GEYES Incorporated is headquartered in Kitwe and gives strong preference to applicants who are resident in or around Kitwe, Copperbelt Province.
