About the RoleWe are seeking a disciplined and highly organized Transport and Equipment Supervisor to oversee the efficient management of our fleet and operational equipment. This role demands a steady hand, someone who understands that machinery, like men, performs best under structure, maintenance, and accountability.You will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are operational, compliant, and utilized effectively to support business operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily transport operations and equipment usageMonitor fleet performance, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedulesEnsure all vehicles and equipment are serviced, roadworthy, and compliant with safety regulationsCoordinate repairs and liaise with service providers and mechanicsMaintain accurate records of vehicle logs, inspections, and equipment usageManage drivers and operators, ensuring adherence to company policiesInvestigate and report accidents, damages, or misuse of company assetsOptimize routes and equipment allocation to improve efficiencyEnforce health, safety, and environmental standards at all timesMinimum RequirementsDiploma or Degree in Transport & Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, or related fieldProven experience in fleet or transport managementStrong understanding of vehicle maintenance and equipment handlingValid driver’s license (preferably with experience in multiple vehicle classes)Excellent organizational and supervisory skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesKey CompetenciesStrong leadership and decision-making abilityAttention to detail and accountabilityProblem-solving mindsetGood communication and reporting skillsHigh level of integrity and professionalism
