Electrical Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at our concrete batching plant in Lusaka. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electromechanical systems to ensure smooth plant operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipmentTroubleshoot and resolve electrical faults in plant machineryMaintain and service electromechanical systems in the batching plantEnsure all equipment operates efficiently and safelyConduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtimeAssist in installation and commissioning of new equipmentMaintain accurate maintenance records and reportsAdhere to health and safety standards at all timesQualifications & RequirementsDiploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related fieldProven experience in electromechanical maintenance, preferably in a mixing or concrete batching plantKnowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and machinery maintenanceBasic welding skills will be an added advantageExperience in weak current systems and electrical troubleshooting is desirableStrong practical and problem-solving skillsSkills & CompetenciesAbility to diagnose and solve technical faults efficientlyStrong attention to detail and safety awarenessAbility to work independently and under pressureGood communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to work flexible hours when requiredWhy Join Us?Be part of a new and growing concrete production facilityOpportunity to work with modern equipment and systemsSupportive and professional working environment
