Laboratory Raw Material Inspector

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented to fill in the vacant position of Laboratory Raw Material Inspector at our concrete plant in Lusaka. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing raw materials to ensure they meet required quality standards before production use.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect and test raw materials used in concrete productionEnsure compliance with quality standards and specificationsRecord and analyze test results accuratelyReport any material defects or inconsistenciesMaintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper usageSupport quality control processes within the plantQualifications & RequirementsExperience working in a material inspection laboratory, preferably in a mixing or concrete plantStrong practical and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMinimum of a Grade 12 certificateBachelor’s degree in Degree in Civil Engineering/Materials Engineering/Materials Science/Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry.Proven experience in a cement plantAdditional technical qualifications are an added advantagePrior experience in a similar role will be highly preferredSkills & CompetenciesAttention to detailStrong problem-solving abilityGood record-keeping and reporting skillsAbility to work under minimal supervision
