Thorntree River Lodge, a safari destination nestled on the river banks of mighty Zambezi river in the Mosi-Oa Tunya National Park, is seeking an experienced and passionate individual to come on board and join our dynamic team in the capacity of Gardener. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in one of Africa’s most pristine and remote wilderness areas, delivering unforgettable experiences to our local international guests.Position : GardenerReporting to : Head of MaintenanceKey Responsibilities:Maintain and grow garden areas.Perform basic maintenance such as cutting the grass, emptying bins, managing weed control and leaf raking.Plant and nurture new trees, flowers, and various plants.Work with hand tools and basic light machinery such as plant vehicles, and small diggers.Maintain a clean garden by clearing rubbish and litter from the garden and grounds.Provide guidance to management on matters related to the garden.Advise management on the costs of plants and garden necessities with detailed written quotations and reports.Ensure a safe environment for staff and clients by adhering to safety and health regulations.Requirements:Full grade 12 certificateCertification in Landscaping or Gardening will be an added advantageAtleast 1-2 years proven experience in managing grass, flowers, trees at a large areaEligible and qualified employees must submit their CV’s and a cover letter clearly indicating the advertised position in the email title to hrzambia@africanbushcamps.com. The deadline is 16th  April, 2026.
