Excavator Operator

JOB ADVERTISEMENT: EXCAVATOR OPERATOR Company: KEDA Zambia Ceramics Location: Lusaka, ZambiaKEDA Zambia Ceramics is seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience operating excavators in an industrial or construction environment and must be based in Lusaka.Key Responsibilities:Operate excavators safely and efficiently for digging, trenching, loading, and material handling.Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.Ensure proper handling of materials to avoid damage and ensure operational efficiency.Follow site safety procedures and company policies at all times.Work closely with supervisors and other team members to complete assigned tasks.Report any mechanical faults or safety concerns promptly.Minimum Requirements:Minimum of Grade 12 Certificate.Valid Excavator Operator certification/license.At least 3 years of proven experience operating excavators.Must be physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment.Must reside in Lusaka.Required Skills and Attributes:Strong knowledge of excavator operations and safety standards.Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.Ability to work under minimal supervision.Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work flexible hours when required.Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment
