Chinese Translator

Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Chinese Translator to support communication between our Chinese technical team and local staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in a machinery, automotive, truck motors, or heavy equipment environment, and be able to translate technical terminology accurately.Key Responsibilities·      Translate Chinese to English and English to Chinese (written and verbal).·      Facilitate communication between Chinese engineers, technicians, and Zambian staff.·      Interpret technical documentation, manuals, reports, and operational instructions.·      Provide on-site translation during technical assessments, repairs, and installations.·      Assist management with correspondence, meetings, and reporting.·      Ensure translations maintain meaning, tone, and technical accuracy.Qualifications & Experience·      Diploma or Degree in Languages. Mechanical Engineering, or related field is an added advantage.·      Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written).·      Prior experience working in a machinery, automotive, engineering, or heavy equipment environment is mandatory.·      Ability to translate technical vocabulary related to engines, trucks, mechanical parts, and workshop operations.·      Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural team.Interested and qualified candidates should submit in a single document their Cover letter, CV and copies of Academic and Professional qualifications.
