JOB VACANCY: SHOPKEEPER Employment Type: Full Location: Meanwood Ndeke phase 1, Friendly Forces Centre, opposite tiny tots school. Job Summary We are looking for a reliable, honest, and customer-focused Shopkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day shop operations, assisting customers, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and welcoming shopping environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome and assist customers in a polite and professional manner. Handle cash and electronic sales transactions accurately. Manage stock/inventory, including restocking shelves and reporting low items. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the shop. Open and close the shop following established procedures. Keep basic records of daily sales and stock movements. [wp_code title="Fluid Ad"] Minimum Qualifications & Requirements Education: Minimum of a Grade 12 School Certificate (or equivalent). Location: Must live within the immediate surroundings. Basic arithmetic and record-keeping skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness. Prior experience in retail or customer service is an added advantage (but not mandatory). 1-2 years relevant experience.
