IT Technician

Jaswin Ports Limited is a Zambian registered company engaged in Transportation, Road Construction, and Toll Gate Operations.  We are currently undertaking a Private Public Partnership [PPP] Project with the Government of Zambia for the development and management of infrastructure at the Zambia-Congo Border at Sakania. This includes road construction, toll gate facilities, and border operations. We are currently looking for an IT  Technician who meets the requirements below: Job Title: IT Technician(X1) Department: Technical Reports To: Technical HOD Location: Ndola JOB SUMMARY Help maintain, troubleshoot, and support computer systems, networks, and related technology to ensure smooth business operations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Offer Technical Support to Tollgate System Operations Faults Handle office/branch network problems and other IT problems Installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software, performing routine checks, and ensuring all systems are operational Providing technical assistance to staff, explaining complex issues in simple terms, and supporting onboarding of new users Maintaining servers, routers, switches, and other networking equipment, ensuring network security and efficiency Help with CCV operations Diagnose and resolve technical issues [wp_code title="Fluid Ad"] QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS Full grade 12 Certificate Minimum Diploma in either IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications or other related discipline Minimum 1 year experience in similar role PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND SKILLS Analytical and Problem solving skills Innovative and proactive Outstanding Organizational and time-management abilities Strong Ethics and Reliability Fluency in (written and verbal) English is essential Proficient in Chinese Highly organized, self motivated, honest, ability to work under pressure and privatize tasks Willing to learn and grow with the organization Excellent Interpersonal Skill Detail Oriented [wp_code title="Fluid Ad"] If you meet the above qualifications please send your CV and COVER LETTER ONLY to jaswinportshr@gmail.com not later than 7th October, 2026 THE EMAIL SUBJECT SHOULD SPECIFY THE POSITION.
