Bakery/Confectionery Assistant

CHOPPIES COPPERBELT/LUSAKA REGION JOB VACANCIES Job Role: Bakery/Confectionery Assistant Responsibilities: To provide efficient, quality customer retention and service. Assist in preparing dough, batters, and filling for breads, cakes, pastries and other baked goods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery work space Ensure strict compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Serving customers; weigh, package, and label bakery items; given advice on baking and preparation Keep all work areas spotless at all times. Sharpen and clean knives; operate cutting machinery safely for bakery use. .Display baked goods attractively in windows or cabinet Maintaining cleanliness in the work area, assisting with customer service, and ensuring proper labeling and display of bakery products. Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Bakery production certification 1-2yrs of experience in bakery production Basic knowledge in bakery/confectionary food preparation Good communication and problem solving skills Physical fitness and ability to work at heights Candidate should be medically fit [wp_code title="Fluid Ad"] Skills, abilities, knowledge, licenses, certifications: Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment Must be able to stay calm and focused. Inter-personal Skills Supervisory skills – ability to train employees to use time efficiently and to be un-compromising regarding service delivery.
