Building and Logistics Officer

Position: Building and Logistics Officer Location: Solwezi, Zambia Reports to: Management Job Summary The Building and Logistics Officer is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and managing building materials required for construction projects. The role also involves overseeing transportation and delivery arrangements, ensuring timely supply to project sites, and coordinating with suppliers, truck drivers, and site supervisors to maintain smooth operations. Key Responsibilities Identify and verify building materials in line with project specifications Source and procure materials from approved suppliers Arrange transportation and delivery of materials to project sites Locate and hire trucks for material delivery when necessary Track delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of materials Maintain accurate records of materials received, issued, and delivered Perform errands related to material sourcing and delivery coordination [wp_code title="Fluid Ad"] Skills and Requirements Craft Certificate in Building Technology Craft Certificate in Plumbing or any related field Certificate in Sales and Marketing is an added advantage Strong knowledge of building materials and their specifications Good organizational and record-keeping skills Strong negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers and transporters Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Computer literacy, with proficiency in MS Office and Excel Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience Valid C1 driver’s license is an added advantage How to Apply Interested candidates should send their CV, cover letter, and copies of qualifications to: sales@brolichi.com
