Position Overview
Zanaco Bank Plc is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following job aimed at contributing to the Bank’s strategic vision, in the Finance Division under the Finance Division at Head Office – Support Functions:
Role Description
Job Purpose: To provide accurate comprehensive financial information and budgets to the business and wider stakeholders. To contribute to the Bank’s robust financial framework by drafting, reviewing, recommending budgets and being the key financial liaison contact for the Corporate and Investment Banking and Business Banking functions.

Job Responsibilities:
To implement a financial framework for the Corporate Investment and Business Banking departments, including drafting financial reports and submitting them to the relevant stakeholders within specified time frames.
To assess and study key financial information provided by the Management Information Systems (MIS) unit and draft financials for the Corporate and Business Banking departments.
To prepare monthly Customer and Product level profitability reports.
To prepare financial information and assist in the development of bank wide budgets in collaboration with other internal stakeholders.
To attend strategic meetings with partners from all business departments to understand support requirements and recommend appropriate actions.
To lead the digitalization of finance workflows; spearhead automation of processes to develop a data framework representing a single source of information across multiple use cases.
To make recommendations to departments on key focus areas for cost management based on analysis of information and key trends observed.
To provide data-based recommendations to the business on performance improvement actions and initiatives.
To perform consistent reconciliation, monitoring and reporting financial information with completeness, accuracy and integrity for all departments and submit the information to be used in drafting of bank-wide annual budgets.
To provide all required information to departments on matters of financial information on a monthly basis.
To perform ad hoc projects related to financial information and other matters.
To carry out all other tasks as may be required by management.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Full Grade 12 Certificate with 5 Credits including English & Mathematics.
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, ACCA or CIMA.
ZICA Licence.
5+ years of progressive experience leading strategic Financial Planning & Analysis, multi-year budgeting cycles, and cross-functional business partnering to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
